Fungal Treatment - treated with the Lacuna Method
This is a treatment for fungal nails which involves micro drilling tiny holes through the nail plate. Anti-fungal spray is applied over the nail and passes through the tiny holes to reach the infection.
Verruca (plantar wart)
Verrucas are warts on the soles of your feet. They may have tiny black dots in the centre and can be painful when you put weight on them. They tend to look quite flat because of the pressure put on them. Sometimes, you can get if you have clusters of verrucas, they can fuse together.
Ingrowing Toenails
An ingrown toenail develops when the sides of the toenail grow into the surrounding skin. The big toe is often affected, either on one or both sides. The nail curls and pierces the skin, which becomes red, swollen and tender. and pain if pressure is placed on the toe.
Callus
A callus is a section of skin on the feet that has become toughened and thick because of friction, pressure, or irritation. They are yellowish or pale in colour.
Corns
A corn is a kind of callus,made of dead skin. They usually form on smooth, hairless skin surfaces. Hard corns tend to be small, and they occur in areas of firm, hard skin, where the skin has thickened or where there are calluses, and in bony areas of the foot.
Cracked Heels
Cracked heels, also referred to as heel fissures, are a common foot condition, which can cause discomfort or even pain. They result from dry skin and are accompanied by thickened skin, plus sometimes yellow or brown calluses around the heel edge.
